Comparison

Transcrib Si vs TurboScribe

Both services transcribe files to text with timestamps and speaker labels, and both sell a paid plan at $10 a month when you pay yearly. The difference is the engine and the limits: TurboScribe covers 98+ transcription languages and 10 hours of audio a month, while Transcrib Si is built for Russian and mixed Russian-English speech, with a 120-minute and 64 MB ceiling on every file.

What we compared, and how

Everything in the other column was read from public pages on public-information audit of 21 October 2026. Where a page could not be read, the cell says “not measured” — we do not fill those cells from advertising or from memory.

Where TurboScribe is better

  • Languages. 98+ transcription languages and translation into 134+, against our two. If your work is multilingual and you need translation output, that is a real advantage.
  • Volume. The paid plan is an unlimited-style allowance: 10 hours of transcription, 5 GB of storage and 50 files a month, against our stated 1,500 minutes a month.
  • Interface. 41 interface languages, including Russian, against one (English).
  • Export. PDF is in the export list as well.

Where Transcrib Si is better

  • The engine is Russian-first. Our engine is not a general model with a language switch: it runs a model profile tuned for Russian speech and for the Russian-English mix, and that mix stays as it was spoken.
  • Agents and API. A REST API, an MCP server with 4 tools, and plugins for Claude and ChatGPT. We did not measure the same for TurboScribe.
  • Machine-readable facts. Our prices, limits and formats are published in llms.txt, llms-full.txt and as JSON-LD offers, so a program can read them without scraping the page.
  • Stated ceilings. 64 MB and 120 minutes per file are printed on the pricing page, in the API error and on this site — no surprise at the upload.

Who should pick which

  • Pick TurboScribe if you need many languages, translation, or a much larger monthly volume.
  • Pick Transcrib Si if your work is in Russian or mixed Russian-English, if you want an API and agent access, or if you want the price and the limits in a form a program can read.
  • Pick either if the deciding factor is the free plan: both give you three short transcriptions a day at no cost.
This is not a review, and it is not a ranking. It is a comparison of facts we could read and measure on public-information audit of 21 October 2026. We are the publisher of one of the two services, and we have tried to state our own weak side as plainly as we state the other one.

FAQ

Questions this page answers.

Is Transcrib Si cheaper than TurboScribe?

On the yearly plan the entry price is the same $10 a month. The difference is what the plan gives: TurboScribe's paid plan is a monthly allowance of 10 hours, 5 GB and 50 files, ours is a stated 1,500 minutes a month. If you transcribe more than about 25 hours a month, compare the two allowances; if you transcribe Russian, the engine matters more than the plan.

Does TurboScribe support Russian?

Yes: 41 interface languages including Russian, and 98+ transcription languages. Our difference is not language support but that our engine was built for Russian speech and for the mixed Russian-English conversations that real work produces.

Can I move my transcripts between the two services?

Both export to TXT, SRT and DOCX, so you can take your files with you. We cannot read or migrate an account on either side, and we do not want access to it.

Where does the price comparison come from?

From the pricing pages of both services, read on public-information audit of 21 October 2026, and from our own pricing page. We did not test a subscription: we compared published prices and published limits.

Which one handles a two-hour lecture?

Ours accepts up to 120 minutes and 64 MB per file, so a two-hour recording is at the limit and the file has to fit 64 MB. TurboScribe's paid plan covers 10 hours a month in total, so a two-hour file fits there too.
